About me
I’m Denise, a counsellor offering person-centred and CBT therapy for adults and couples in a safe, confidential, and supportive environment. My approach is warm, non-judgemental, and tailored to your individual needs, helping you feel heard, understood, and supported throughout your journey. I hold over 15 years’ experience in private practice and four years as the director of a community interest company supporting young people out of education and employment. I have extensive experience working with:
- domestic abuse
- relationship difficulties
- anxiety
- low self-esteem
- trauma
- emotional wellbeing
I understand how challenging personal struggles can be and believe that having the right therapeutic support can help you gain clarity, confidence, and healthier ways of coping. Counselling is my passion, and I strongly believe in the value of the therapeutic relationship. By working together, we can explore difficulties at your own pace and help you move forward towards positive and lasting change in your life and relationships.
