Supporting adults through life’s challenges - whether you’re facing something big or feeling stuck in the everyday - with a focus on anxiety, self-esteem, grief, relationships, work stress and life transitions.
About me
Hi, I’m Louise, a fully qualified and BACP registered counsellor. I offer a confidential and supportive space for adults to reflect on their experiences, gain clarity, and work towards meaningful change. I provide both short-term, focused therapy and longer-term counselling, depending on your needs.
You might be feeling overwhelmed, stuck, or unsure of your direction - whether due to anxiety, low mood, relationship difficulties, or pressures related to work and life transitions. I offer a calm, non-judgemental environment where you can explore what’s going on for you at your own pace.
I work with a variety of issues including:
• Anxiety and stress
• Depression and low mood
• Low self-esteem and confidence
• Grief and bereavement
• Relationship and family concerns
• Workplace stress and burnout
• Life transitions and personal growth
• ADHD and neurodiversity
I have particular experience in bereavement and loss, having worked within bereavement charities and hospice settings, supporting individuals and families through complex experiences of grief. I also have several years’ experience in recruitment, which informs my understanding of workplace dynamics, career development, and the impact of stress and burnout.
I work extensively with adults in their 20s and 30s, supporting issues such as identity, relationships, ADHD and neurodiversity, career direction, and the longer-term impact of the pandemic.
My approach is person-centred and integrative, meaning I tailor the work to you as an individual. I focus on building a safe and consistent therapeutic relationship, supporting you to develop insight, resilience, and practical ways forward.
I hold a Diploma in Therapeutic Counselling, including additional training in online and telephone counselling, and maintain ongoing CPD to ensure my practice remains ethical and up to date.
I’m here to help you feel heard, supported, and ready to move forward. Please get in touch to take the next step.
