I’m Nikki, a therapist who offers a down-to-earth, inclusive space where you can feel comfortable being yourself from the very start. My work is rooted in person-centred values, meaning you are always at the heart of the process.

About me

Alongside my professional training, I bring lived experience into the room. This helps me connect with you in a genuine way, offering support that feels real, human, and grounded. I don’t see you as a set of symptoms to fix, but as a whole person with a story that deserves to be understood.

How I Can Support You

People come to therapy for many different reasons. You might be feeling overwhelmed by anxiety, low mood, or struggling with depression. You may be carrying grief, feeling stuck, or finding it hard to make sense of your thoughts and emotions. Whatever brings you here, we can explore it together at your pace.

I have particular experience in supporting those who have been affected by trauma, including domestic abuse. I’ve worked with individuals who have experienced harm, as well as those who have caused harm, which gives me a well-rounded understanding of the complexities involved. This includes the impact of power, control, and the long-term effects these experiences can have on emotional wellbeing and relationships.

My Approach

No two people experience life in the same way, so therapy shouldn’t feel rigid or prescriptive. I use an integrative approach, drawing from a range of therapeutic models to shape the work around you. At times, this may involve gently processing past experiences. At others, it might focus on helping you feel more stable and grounded in the present.

Our work together is collaborative. I’ll invite curiosity, reflection, and exploration, while always respecting your boundaries. You set the pace, and we move in a way that feels manageable for you.

Working Together

I work with both individual adults and couples, offering a space where you can speak openly and feel heard without judgment. Whether you are looking to understand patterns, work through painful experiences, or simply find some clarity, I’m here to support you.

Healing is not about rushing or forcing change. It’s about creating the right conditions for growth, and having someone alongside you who understands the process. That’s what I aim to offer.
