I offer therapy tailored to your unique needs, blending person-centred counselling with solution focused techniques like hypnosis. With warmth and compassion, I support you to understand and change unhelpful patterns such as those contributing to anxiety.

About me

I’m Sarah, an integrative therapist. I've always been driven to support people to improve their wellbeing and mental health. My therapeutic approach is a blend of person-centred counselling and solution-focused therapy, which allows you to explore and work through your current and past experiences without judgement, at your own pace.

I can support you to identify unhelpful patterns of behaviour, thinking, and emotions. Where helpful, I use solution-focused techniques and hypnosis to support you to achieve your goals and create change. My sessions can also include somatic techniques and mindfulness.

Some of the issues I’m experienced supporting people with include:

  • anxiety
  • career stress and burnout
  • navigating significant life changes
  • bereavement

I provide empathy and understanding within a safe space to explore whatever issues you need to bring to the table.

I have been in private practice for 19 years, initially offering hypnotherapy and later, counselling. Over the last 11 years, I have also delivered therapy through several local charities and voluntary organisations including a local carers partnership and The Mac Group.
