Join a self-employed network of therapists
We collaborate with self-employed counsellors as service delivery partners to fill service gaps and meet the unique needs of our clients. We welcome registrations from any qualified therapists to join our network, our social value mission is at the heart of everything we do.
We’re particularly interested in therapists who can deliver in-person sessions for families, children & young people or have a psychosexual therapy specialism.
What we look for:
- Qualified and appropriately experienced therapists
- Able to manage appointments via an online portal
- Comfortable working on a self-employed basis

You receive 60% of each session fee. The remaining 40% covers operational costs and funds our charity, TLC: Talk, Listen, Change, which supports people who need extra help accessing wellbeing services.

Set your own boundaries between work and personal life
Clients can view your availability and book directly through the Now You’re Talking website, removing the need for back-and-forth scheduling outside of your working hours.
Support throughout your self-employed journey
You’ll have direct access to our operational support team for help with administrative tasks such as login issues, booking enquiries, and technical support. Now You’re Talking is also committed to providing ongoing professional development opportunities in partnership with TLC.
- Uphold TLC group values: safe, authentic, and person-centred
- Represent yourself and your skills honestly via your profile on our website
- Deliver therapy in line with the ethical standards of your professional body and registration provider, supported by a minimum of 90 minutes of clinical supervision per month with a named, qualified supervisor
- Manage your caseload responsibly, including case note recording and secure storage of client information
- Follow all Now You’re Talking policies and procedures, including those on Safeguarding and Information Governance
- Comply with UK GDPR and the Data Protection Act (2018)
- Use our online portal to manage appointments, client communication, and engagement
- Keep all documentation and credentials current, renewing anything with an expiry date as required
- Commit to ongoing CPD in line with your professional requirements
