Catherine Teale
Adults’ and Young Peoples' therapy
I support young people and adults through life’s challenging moments with creative and relational counselling.
About me
Therapy succeeds when you develop a trusting and deep connection with your counsellor. I always endeavour to create a warm and safe environment where we can genuinely engage.
I have helped many people over the years work through their issues using a number of techniques and approaches. I’d describe my style of therapy as integrative, creative, and relational; I emphasise the importance of getting to know you or your child as an individual.
As a parent myself, I understand how to best support young people, utilising age-appropriate language and creative activities that align with their developmental needs. I hold a lot of experience supporting children through things like school bullying, exam stress, future goals, and career ideas.
Some of the issues I can support you or your child with include:
• anxiety
• depression
• low self-esteem
• stress
• grief
• bullying
• future plans and goals
I’ve also worked in NHS mental homes since 2021 supporting people living with mental health problems.
If you’re looking for a compassionate, kind, and empathetic therapist to help you work through life’s tough moments, please get in touch.
