Have you gone through a major life change? Are past experiences making you feel stuck in life? I can help you better understand yourself and move forward.
About Me
First, well done for taking the first step and arriving here. It’s not always easy to realise that something isn’t right and you might need help from someone outside your family or friend circle.
I’m Jenny, a BACP accredited therapist. My practice is rooted in person-centred therapy, which is based on the premise that you are the expert in your life and you can make change happen.
My role is to help you get to know yourself better, reach self-acceptance, and become your best self so you can live life to the fullest. Therapy isn’t like waving a magic wand — it takes time. But if you’re prepared to be open and curious in getting to know yourself better, it can be a challenging but rewarding experience.
You may have experienced a recent loss or bereavement. Maybe you’ve gone through a job loss or another major life change. It could be that you’ve always felt unhappy but not really understood why. Perhaps you find relationships with others challenging and want to explore this with someone independently.
If you’re feeling anxious, I can offer you coping mechanisms to manage your fears through meditation and breath work and better understand what your triggers are. If past experiences have left you feeling stuck, I can help you understand how they’re impacting the present and help you move forward.
Ultimately my focus is to work with you to develop a mutual level of trust and provide a safe and facilitative space for your exploration and growth.
