Building a positive and trusting relationship, where you feel valued and understood, is the most important part of our work together. I recognise that each person's experience is unique so we will work together to ensure that our sessions meet your specific needs and goals.
About Me
Hello, I’m Romana Norman, a fully qualified Person-Centred Counsellor and a registered member of the British Association for Counselling and Psychotherapy, with many years experience in mental health support. I have experience supporting clients with a range of issues, including:
- Anxiety
- Trauma
- Depression
- Self-esteem and self-image
- Relationship issues
- Life changes
- Suicidal ideation and self-harm
My approach is rooted in the principles of person-centred therapy, where you are viewed as the expert in your own life. With my support, we can enable you to find your own solutions and help you to manage life's challenges.
Outside of my counselling work, I enjoy walking, running, and reading — taking time that helps me slow down, reflect, and reconnect with what matters most. My own passions reflect the goals that I have for our work together. I create a compassionate space where you feel empowered to safely explore and heal.
I work with young people aged 11 and above, and beyond my private counselling practice I work with children and young people as a school counsellor.
