Creating an Account
To use certain features, you may need to create an account. You must be 18 or older to do this. Please make sure your details — name, email, and contact information — are accurate and kept up to date.
Your Responsibilities
Keep your login details private and log out when finished, especially on shared devices. If you think someone has accessed your account without permission, let us know right away.
Updating or Closing Your Account
You can update or close your account at any time in your settings. If you close it, any saved information may be lost. We may also suspend or close an account that breaches these Terms or is used unlawfully.
How You Use the Site
We ask all users to act respectfully and lawfully. That means no fraudulent activity, no misuse, and no violating the rights of others.
Data Retention and Deletion
We only keep your personal data for as long as needed to meet legal requirements or resolve disputes. Once your account is closed, your data will be deleted securely in line with our data protection policy, unless we’re required by law to keep it longer.
- Services Provided
Our website helps connect you with independent counsellors and therapists (“Therapists”) who offer professional support (“Therapist Services”). You can browse, book, and manage sessions through our online booking system.
Therapist Qualifications
We make sure every Therapist meets high professional standards. Each must:
- Hold a recognised degree in their field.
- Have completed 100 hours of supervised therapy
- Be registered with a body such as the British Association for Counselling and Psychotherapy (BACP).
- Complete regular supervision and ongoing training, including Level 2 Safeguarding and GDPR training.
- Hold valid insurance (public liability, professional indemnity, and medical malpractice).
- Have a current DBS check.
Our Role
We provide the platform that connects you with Therapists. We don’t employ, supervise, or represent them. Each Therapist is responsible for their own work. If you feel your match isn’t right, you’re free to choose another professional from our network.
Therapist Availability
We aim to keep a wide range of Therapists available, though we can’t guarantee that a specific person will always be accessible. If your Therapist stops using our platform, we’ll let you know and help you find a new one.
Suitability of Services
Therapy can be beneficial for many people, but it’s not right for every situation. If a healthcare professional has recommended in-person or medical support, online therapy shouldn’t replace that. Please consider your needs carefully before booking.
- Booking, Cancellation and Refunds
Booking a Session
You can book a session through our online booking system by choosing your therapy type, preferred therapist, and time slot. Payment is made at booking through our secure system, which accepts all major credit and debit cards. Once confirmed, you’ll receive an email with session details from your chosen therapist
Cancelling or Rescheduling
You can cancel or reschedule free of charge up to 48 hours before your session. Just follow the steps in your booking confirmation or reminder email.
If you cancel or reschedule less than 48 hours before your session, or miss it entirely, the payment is non-refundable. This ensures therapists are compensated for time they’ve reserved for you.
Refunds
Refunds are only available for cancellations made 48 hours or more in advance. They’re issued to your original payment method and may take a few business days to appear, depending on your bank.
If a therapist cancels your session, you’ll be notified by email and can either reschedule or receive a full refund.
Changing Your Therapist
If you’d like to work with a different therapist after your first session, you can make this change through our booking system, subject to availability.
- Payments
Payments are processed securely through WooCommerce and Square, trusted providers that handle online transactions. When booking, you agree to share your payment details with Square for processing.
Accepted Methods
We accept most major credit and debit cards. Please make sure your details are correct when booking.
Security
Square follows strict security and encryption standards. While we take all reasonable precautions, no online system is completely risk-free, so we can’t guarantee the security of information sent over the internet.
Pricing
All prices are listed in GBP and include applicable taxes unless otherwise stated.

After payment, you’ll receive an email confirmation and receipt. Keep this for your records.

We may update our prices occasionally, but any changes will only apply to new bookings.

If we can’t reach a resolution within 30 days, disputes will fall under the non-exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales. You can still bring a claim in your country if the law allows.
You can also choose to use independent mediation or arbitration, or contact an ombudsman for help settling disputes outside court.
- Changes in the terms and conditions
We may update these Terms occasionally to reflect changes in our services, laws, or business.
By continuing to use our site after updates, you agree to the new Terms. If you don’t agree, you can stop using our services at any time.
Unless stated otherwise, updates take effect as soon as they’re posted.
